Sally Evans, A'Seduction and her Dressage Team

Sponsorship Opportunity

The Northern Rivers of New South Wales are home to a number of athletes competing at the elite level. Sally Evans and her horse A'Seduction, based at Ballina, are aiming to go to the top in dressage in Australia. They are members of the National Dressage Development Squad 2007. The pair offers an opportunity for a business seeking Australia-wide and international exposure to appear as sponsor. It is an advertising opportunity as much as it is a way of sharing Australia’s love for sports, the experience of sporting excellence and the beauty of the equine athlete.

The end of a dream of becoming a dancer led Sally Evans to the partnership with a palomino gelding, an unwanted raffle prize that accompanied her through her teenage years. Since then, she has been involved in eventing, showjumping, riding racehorses in trackwork and other horse sports. In 1986, she was the first to become a member of Queensland’s Squads in both dressage and eventing.

A qualified instructor and nationally accredited judge, Sally Evans has focussed on dressage riding for more than 12 years. She describes dressage as a ballet on horse back, one that demands perfection. Harnessing and directing the

power of the horse, and translating that softness and gracefulness, is a challenge that becomes almost addictive.

In April 2002, Sally Evans and Jaybee Assassin won the Prix St Georges and Inter I at the Sydney CDI***, the highest internationally ranking and only 3-star event in Australia.

A’Seduction is by the sire Aachimedes who is standing at Jaybee Farm in Queensland.  He is
proving extremely successful in the arena and is blessed with an exceptional beauty and harmony in conformation and nature.
