CHRISTOPHER AND AMANDA BRYCE

I always thought I'd be a dancer until I suffered burns to over 40% of my body at the age of 6
.

I rode in a variety of equestrian activities such as Pony Club Polocrosse Eventing…. Dressage… and over ten years of riding racehorses in the early mornings doing their trackwork at Eagle Farm in Brisbane.

Throughout these years I had a few falls, a couple on the racetrack, competing cross country and a couple at home in training. Thankfully or luckily I never really hurt myself, like no broken bones, just some sore muscles and body in general. I never went to see a chiropractor ( and  yet we used to have them attend to the horses. Most of the time, I guess I thought it was just muscle soreness and I suppose I just worked through it.

You see... I’ve always been a little sore and stiff in the lower back and shoulders/neck area,
but you know... you just work out of it.

Anyway...
early during 2002 I was just going about my normal daily chores around the horses...
I bent down to pick up the horse's hind leg and suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my lower back on my left side.
... IT REALLY HURT...

It hurt that much, that when I saddled up the horse and started to ride I could not put any weight on my left seat bone at all. I knew this was very serious; I have to get fixed up as soon as possible. Horses are my life... I love riding and competing in dressage, which is the sport I have excelled in.

I am a dressage coach and one of my students recommended Christopher and Amanda Bryce, at Alstonville.
I’ve never been to a chiropractor before. The first thing Chris instructs me to do is to have full spinal x-rays done and report back the next day. OK... so…,  a fracture and broken tail bone... these are old injuries... some curvature... not a great straight spine... but I do all right.

Within two weeks I was back riding my beautiful horses again, I still needed work done monthly for 6 months and Chris also had me doing a lot of specific exercises to keep my back working properly and to strengthen it. Now I only see Chris every 2-3 months most times unless I have done something,...like fall off a horse or..., well you know...

Chris has certainly improved my back, I no longer have any ongoing aches and pains. In fact
, since all of this I am now more comfortable riding and training my horses then I ever was.

I believe I am now riding straighter and more confidently in the competitions. We are on the NSW State Squad, with aspirations to represent Australia on the International scene
.

Chris and Amanda have made me more aware of my body and how to keep it in top form for my sport, and even my daily activities.

I know recommend to all of my students if they suffer from any spine related pain or discomfort to go and see Christopher and Amanda Bryce.
I also strongly advise them to be checked out especially after a fall from their horse.

HORSES WILL BE HORSES
... BUT WE LOVE THEM.

Angela and JB Assassin

I had lots of problems with the horse JB Assassin with some stomach issues. BJ (JB Assassin) always had a slight running sort of loose manure especially if he got some very green hay or even if he was a little nervous. It did seem to effect his energy and attitude, particularly his ability to relax into his work, and I could not really hit it on the head.

I had owned BJ since he was 2 years old and I had always fed him just a basic diet of green and yellow chaffs, some sort of grain, and bran
and then his supplements such as salt and others. Little did I realise that I was developing a stomach problem that he would have for a long long time. You see, BJ is wheat intolerant and all that bran was not doing him any good at all, in fact it was contributing to this problem.

Along came Angela and her ability to test the hair of the horses and check what feed types are ok for the horse and his system. After a diet change and two lots of oral herbal mixtures (which BJ just absolutely loved to have) he became incredibly better and the problem was eliminated.

BJ was lucky enough to have Angela do a body treatment on him every week, which of course he just loved and then his body became bigger and more able to cope with the work that an FEI level horse has to do.

ALL OF THIS WAS JUST SO IMPORTANT TO HIM. AND THE COMPETITION OUTCOMES.

A’SEDUCTION - NOW HE IS JUST A DIFFERENT KETTLE OF FISH

This horse has also benefited from Angela’s work. He has a body treatment almost every week or second week. This definitely helps him with the top line development, and muscle repair and recovery. I think also mentally, it is a time for him to relax and enjoy, a bit like ourselves having an enjoyable pampering /massage.

ENS HORSEPOWER
____________________

I used the Horsepower company since it first started, whey back - I cannot remember but it was a while ago.

Now over all of these years, at least 15 years, I have been using mostly the Horsepower Mineral supplement and the Vitamin one and the straight Vitamin E.

These are the three main ones that I have a lot of confidence in.

The minerals seem to be easily eaten by most horses and as the east coast of Australia is pretty low on its minerals and trace elements in the soils so too are the grasses that our horses graze on - they don’t have all the right things in it that they should have.

Supplementation is important especially to our young growing horses. We want to give them the best start while their bones and muscles are developing.

A’Seduction has also the Vitamin E for his fertility and it is also very important for the muscles. I find the horses that are in full work for dressage are required to work most days and they need to replenish the body with good nutritional food.

The Vitamin supplement, which has high supply of the B group vitamins and an added supply of Vitamin C has always given a marked improvement in their coat’s iridescence. The horses look fantastic.
